Nepal Orphanage Volunteer Opportunity
Nepal has so much to offer its people and the tourist that visit. It is filled with many sights to see, food to eat, and people to meet. Unfortunately, while Nepal has so much to offer, it is also struggling with poverty and abandoned children.
Local orphanages are struggling to provide for these children.
You can help by volunteering in the Nepal orphanage, giving your heart and your time to these unfortunate children. You will by teaching English, caring for the children, and helping out around the orphanage.
You will be the teacher, friend, mentor, and family these children otherwise would not have.
Required Experience: You do not need any prior education or experience to volunteer in the orphanage in Nepal. We only want you to be eager and compassionate about working with these children and to remember they have been abused and abandoned and require patience and understanding.
Your love and patience will make a positive impact on these poor children.
Responsibilities of Volunteers: As a volunteer in the Nepal orphanage, you will work in the local schools a few hours each morning teaching English. You will also help teach the children physical and dental hygiene.
In the evenings you can show off your creative side by playing engaging games and sports with the children. You can help the children with their homework, prepare and serve meals, and other tasks needed by staff. We hope volunteers are eager to help where needed.
Nepal English Teaching Opportunity

We ask that you be patient, loving, and set an example for these neglected children.
Roles for Volunteers: Volunteers in Nepal teaching English will spend the first part of their day teaching in the local schools. Nepal follows a fixed English curriculum and will be provided for you.
You will assist other teachers in the schools, organize extra-curricular activities, and help with administration responsibilities. You may also be asked to help with field trips, homework, or monitoring the students’ academic progress.
Medical and Healthcare Projects in Nepal
Unfortunately, Nepal’s health system lacks funds and resources to give the locals good healthcare. Medical volunteers in Nepal will work in clinics in the rural areas.
You will help the doctors and staff. Assignments will be based on prior education and background.
Necessary Skills: If you are interested in volunteering with our medical programs in Nepal, you do not need any previous experience. We will tailor the program to fit your skills and interests. All volunteers are welcomed.
Tasks for Volunteers: Medical volunteers in Nepal will assist nurses and physicians by taking vital signs, obtaining patient data, and basic first aid. You will not perform any major surgeries or exams due to liabilities. You might be asked to help with educate patients on health, healthy eating, sanitation and assisting in wellness clinics.

The Buddhist religion has a great influence over the people of Nepal and it is shown through all the striking monasteries located around the country.
Volunteers that would like to volunteer with the Buddhist monks in Nepal will spend their time teaching English to these monks. In return you will learn all about the quiet lives of monks.
Qualified Candidates Skills: To volunteer with the Buddhist monks in Nepal you do not need any experience. You only need to be respectful of the monk’s tranquil life and rules.

Your program starts off with a language class and exploring the beautiful city of Katmandu. Katmandu offers you the exciting opportunity to be immersed in the culture of Nepal, visit local temples, shrines, and the Living Goddess.
You will fill yourself with culture, language, and adventures! You will also have the chance to stay in a village and experience village life, hike to the hidden temples and monasteries, and be one on one with nature.
Service Projects – Work In An Orphanage (14 Days)
The second part of your summer volunteer program in Nepal is working with the abandoned children in the orphanage. You will teach English, play games, and help with daily care for the children. In your free time you can visit the local area.
Explore Nepal: Annapurna Base Camp Trek (14 Days)
After your very rewarding experience helping the unfortunate children, you will then head on over to the popular Nepalian tourist attraction – Trekking! Your summer volunteer program is just beginning!
Here you will experience a life altering hiking trip. You will journey through communities, cultures, and religions all different from one another. On top of that you will see some of the most stunning sights created.
Housing/ Meals/ Supervision
We will handle all arrangements for you during your volunteer project in Nepal. We will place you at our home base or with a host family depending on your project location. All projects are within walking distance to your lodging. Internet cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores are close as well.
You will get 3 locally prepared meals a day but can purchase your own food at your own expense if wanted. You will have access to our local volunteer project coordinator throughout your entire volunteer adventure for questions or concerns.
