Costa Rica

Healthcare Project (San Jose, Cortes)

Many people know Costa Rica as a tropical paradise, but whattheymay not realize is that there are still many people who lack basic health care. You will primarily be shadowing nurses and doctors, but you’ll have other responsibilities that may include prevention, education, or other medical related community efforts. These responsibilities will be determined based on your interests, placement, and skills.

From educational campaigns to supporting medical staff, your assistance makes a huge contribution to those in need. Learning from nurses and doctors will allow you to gain valuable medical field experience that will contribute to future healthcare.
