Volunteer Accommodation in Zimbabwe

If you haven't traveled to Africa alone before, planning a trip there might feel a bit overwhelming. You might be concerned about the safety of your accommodations and wonder about food and sanitation.

Navigating a continent you've just arrived on can be a challenge. But with IFRE, you can put these doubts and fears to rest. You can relax knowing that we'll take care of everything for you.

IFRE ensures secure, clean, and comfortable housing for volunteers, provides two local and healthy meals each day, and ensures our exceptional in-country staff is there to oversee and guide you throughout your entire volunteering experience in Zimbabwe.

During your program, you'll stay at our volunteer house in Victoria Falls, approximately 4 kilometers from the city center. Bedrooms are furnished with single beds, hosting a minimum of two and a maximum of four individuals per room. During peak seasons, bunk beds are introduced to ensure comfortable lodging for more volunteers. We prioritize both space and comfort, recognizing the need for relaxation after a day of fieldwork.

The lounge offers a comfortable seating area and entertainment with a television featuring various international news and entertainment channels. Volunteers have free 24-hour internet access for communication purposes, though excessive downloads or streaming may temporarily limit access.

Support services, including a cook, cleaner, and gardener, are available throughout the day. The volunteer house, within a 500m to 1km radius of essential services like shops, ensures tranquility, comfort, and a homely atmosphere. Laundry services are available every Tuesday at a fee of USD$10 per bunch.
